Hi everyone,
Hi there. I use Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit, first off. Second of all, I use a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop. My issue is this: I installed Ubuntu, noticed that the volume buttons on my laptop worked fine, and now that I switch over to awesome window manager I notice that the volume buttons no longer work.
ubuntu 9.10 amd64. I only found a problem with mic. Record the sound a bit low.
Hey guys, I'm from Argentina and I met a few days ago and I love this distro, I use Linux since 2004 and I would love to install #! but I have the following problems. Of course I have a Dell Inspiron 1440 Notebook, 3GB of RAM and a 500gb hard drive with W7 and I use it for work. And I love to use both systems on my computer.Try to install #! via USB but I could not do it.
I'm looking at buying a Dell Inspiron 1564, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it?
If this would be a bad choice of laptop hardware, could anyone suggest a more Ubuntu-friendly one?
Купил сегодня ноут Dell Inspiron N5520 на нем стояла ubuntu 11.10 я решил поставить по свежее версию 12.10 но перестал работать wi-fi
Translation:
Today I bought a new Dell Inspiron N5520 laptop, but it had 11.10 on it. I decided to update to version 12.10, but the wi-fi stopped working.
So I've been reading, and have not been able to find a fix for this.
The problem is that when I connect to a secured network, it keep getting kicked off and asked for my routers Key every ten to fifteen seconds. I can however connect to a non secured network, and stay connected with out any problems. I am currently connected via wireless tether through my droid.
Hi everyone,
I have been trying to get BT5 installed of my Dell Inspiron 1564 - but have had a number of problems. I have used previous versions of BT for several years, but I am not a Linux expert....I rely heavily on these forums for fixes.
I have tried both BT5 64bit Gnome and BT5 64bit KDE. I can get both installed, but with Gnome my sound doesnt work.
