5.0 - OK (Logitech QuickCam E2500)

Hi, I cannot find an updated driver for a webcam Logitech Quickcam E 2500 webcam. It doesn't work with Cheese nor does it work with Skype. I'm using Lubuntu 12.04 LTS. I have tried the packages qc-usb-utils (utility programs for the QuickCam Express driver) & qc-usb-source (source for the QuickCam Express driver) without a result.

Help pleasePlugged in my webcam, which I have only used before with windows xp about 4 years ago.Nothing happens.Want to use it with Skype. :)Thank youMarianne

This model is a UVC camera. Cheese, Ekiga and Skype found it instantly.

logitech quickcam messenger not detected by fedora 10 x64.

i've checked the rpmfusion & livna repo's in hopes of finding kmod-gspca, but there is none.

is there any way to get logitech quickcam messenger to work in fedora 10 or 11? or is this webcam unsupported?

I am using ASUS Eee PC 901 with Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix. I am a rookie of Ubuntu and Linux. I used Ubuntu since last November, I found it very cool and fast and stable. But lately I am facing a problem of my Eee PC 901 internal webcam, it goes black and white once day and the color never come back.

Hi there. the webcam worked perfectly until last night. after upgrading to 11.10 from 11.04, it stopped working properly. I can get an image in cheese but the colors are wrong, it looks mostly black and white. and the integrated mic it has, which also worked perfectly, is no longer picking up any sounds. I'm using the 64bits version. thanks for any ideas
