I think many people would have asked this but since I'm new to this site and I couldn't find an answer here or on google, I've decided to ask. I noticed if my type of screen lock was a simple swipe, I can add widgets onto my lock screen. However, like many other people, I've chosen to lock my screen with a pattern making it secure.
I am unable to add or use lock screen widgets. In the lock screen settings menu I have no option to add apps/widgets (the option is missing) and lock screen widgets menu "Favourite apps or Camera" is greyed out.
I have made an image that I'd like to use as my lockscreen "wallpaper". Except, I don't want it to be a wallpaper, I want it to be the only thing I see on the lockscreen with no unlock button or widgets on top.
Hi,I'm running KDE 4.11.2 on an Arch x86_64 box. I looked through the KDE bug reports, but I couldn't find a bug filed about this, and I'm confused about where to start looking. If I use the 'Simple Locker' and lock my screen, everything works wonderfully and as expected.
I have no idea why this has happened, but for some reason on my Nexus 7 (do not have this issue on my Galaxy Nexus running CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies), when I try to interact with a widget on my lock screen, the widget goes to the background, and the lock turns white highlighted with a box around it (like it wants me to unlock the device first).
Anyone else have this problem? I go to touch a widget on my Nexus 7 lock screen to interact with it and when I do, the widget goes to the background and the unlock ring gets highlighted. Why can't I use my widgets?
