3G Speeds On Rooted STFU?

I used to have around 150-230 kbps daily But now its 5-6 kbps Had multiple attempts to call Boost care and tech support to only have my phone factory resetted 2x luckily fot TB... I don't really know what download speeds other people get on Virgin Mobile, and I just wondered if you guys could post your average download speeds and the rom you are getting those speeds on. My average speed is around 30 kbps :(

I use MTDEV CM9, which I love :D

General Boston area 4G speeds 35 weeks 6 days ago

My 4G speeds have been awful for several months all over Boston. I average about 450 kbps down and 565kbps up. I've tested speeds at different locations, times as well as servers. No significant difference.

Does anyone live in the area and use Metro's 4G? If so, could you please post your speeds?

I've updated my prl regularly and it makes no difference at all. Thanks!

My wifi speed drops from ~600 kbps to >50 kbps within a few seconds after connecting to the wifi. There is no problem with speeds on my windows 7 environment nor my phone. I have tried other distros like fedora and Gnome Ubuntu but the problem remains. Due to these low speeds i cannot update or even check what the problem is any help will be appreciated.

I am on wifi and notice an issue with speeds. My PC gets roughly 21 Mbps, my iPad gets the same, but my Droid X only gets around 5000 Kbps at best...???

My question is......is the phone that bad or is it the app?????

Keeping signal alive 4 weeks 5 days ago

When I am downloading roms and other things using aDownloader, some times the download speeds dip tremendously, from 200 kbps to 1 kbps. I know this is to preserve battery and whatnot, but that is not an issue for me. Is there an app or something to keep the signal 'alive'? Looking around yielded no helpful results. Thank you.

i'm searching the forums, i could have sworn ive seen threads for this before but i can't seem to find what i'm looking for in the search.. maybe i'm doing something wrong? but anyways, i want to return my s3, i'm switching over to tmobile, my lte speeds were great but it would fluctuate from 3g-1x quite often and those speeds were horrible.

Phone is freezing up. Don't know why. Help please. Can hardly even make this post. Keep getting apps not responding messages. Download speeds are ranging from 8kbps 2 40kbps. Tried deleting throttle files (data/system/throttle) helped a little. Carrier says everything OK on their end. Signal strength poor here but last week was seeing 350+kbps same area and w/one bar.
