Nero Linux is currently reach version 4. There are many updates on this version. Now, if you install this Nero 4 on your Linux, there will be two separate program. Its Nero Linux and Nero Linux Express. Both are usable and very easy to use, almost the same with the Windows version.
Welcome s_lloyd_tux. Mind telling us? I initially explored Corel Linux, Red Hat and Mandrake in 1998/99, but then only returned in 2005 after Broadband became available in my area. So it was the built-in Winmodem that kept me away, and my insistance not to buy an external one as long as that one still worked. Eventually it got obsoleted.
Sure, you could always use Linux as a desktop OS, but it wasn't until November 1999 that Corel introduced a Linux designed for ordinary users. It's been a long, strange trip since then.
Hi!
I've been using Linux on and off for more than ten years, and I have found that there are ALWAYS things to learn! :study:
On the other hand, Linux really isn't that hard to learn--if you have the right resources.
i am in process to install R12.1.1 on RHEL 6.1.
while installing pre-requisite on RHEL 6.1 i am facing following error :

Hi!
My laptop is failing and I have a new job that will involve a lot of traveling. So I'm thinking of instead of buying a new laptop to get a tab. There are a few questions though that I can't find proper answers for just by Googling... I guess this kind of "radical" change is still a bit new :)
1. I need to use a lot of MS office files (Word, Excel, PP).
Hi,
When I work with very big files, all simple commands takes a long time and by default my machine seems to work with only one core (Intel Corel i5 480 2.67Ghz) so I have 2 questions:
1. How to force my machine to work with all cores when I use commads or scripts?
2. Is there a problem if I force all cores?
Thanks.
Wikipedia defines man pages as ” extensive documentation that comes preinstalled with almost all substantial Unix and Unix-like operating systems. ” .Just as the definition goes sometimes the documentation is so extensive that you are unable to find the data you need.
