Yeah, I bought a glass phone while working in construction without a case, what of it? :-[
I was wondering how hard it would be to pick out the shattered pieces of glass from the back, and replace it with a different material. . . I know the camera actually "looks through" the back glass, but that could be fixed with a simple cutout maybe? Throw me ideas.
I dropped my gn2 on the corner from about 2 inches and somehow it broke! It's just cracked in the corner and i can live with it but I see that the glass lenses are $20 so I think I'll give it a shot, but somewhere I read that the glass is glued to the lcd so it requires the whole $200 purchase of a lcd, and digitizer and glass. Is this true?
I didn't drop it, didn't bang it against anything, nope-- it was just in my front pant pocket not being pressed on at all, covered by the official bumper case meant to protect it. Funny how it shattered perfectly around that speaker grill though, if there was a weak point in the glass that could cause a shatter, that would sure be the spot.
hi yall
this glass scratched over 2 days that the phone was in my pocket!?
where i can find camera lens/protective glass ?
and is there any chance to put real camera glass instead the original camera glass?
Was wondering whether I should get the TF300 or the Prime. The TF300 is cheaper and has the plastic back and I really need good wifi reception. Was concerned about the screen. I hear its identical to the Prime, except for the glass? How good/bad is the glass? Is there a visible difference between the two displays with the cheaper glass being used? How does the glass feel? Is it hard and smooth?
My N7 is C9 but still has minor, I believe, "screen separation" issue. Other than this, it works fine. I can live with this separation but I have only one concern, the dust.
So, I did a lot of research on the cause of the separation and found that the glass and LCD are somehow fused together.
The news about Google Glass just keeps coming today. After announcing that Glass is about to ship and releasing the Glass Mirror API documentation, Google has now also posted the full spec sheet for the Glass hardware.
This glass on the note 2 blows (if this phone even has it) and I already have a couple small scratches, do I need a wet install screen protector to hide them or will a dry one help too?
