Hello Ubuntu community.
I am confused about how certain games can or can not be played on Ubuntu. Every sort of "Big Market" game available is not supported on Linux. However, when looking on Amazon, I stumbled across NBA 2K13 in the Linux Games section.
I got a nexus 7 at Xmas, mainly to play games. Now I'm finding that although I have got games on Google Play, they don't seem to be suitable for the tablet. It has crashed repeatedly on both Sims Free play and Townsmen. A pop up appears telling me that it is closing, and opening in safe mode so that I can delete the third party app that I have downloaded.
what games can I play on linux? I've heard you can't play the same games on linux that you can on windows, is this correct?
if not, which ones can't I play? Can I play all my zsnes rom games on linux? What about demos like call of duty world at war, and left 4 dead and battlefield bad company? Thanks
Those of you who have ever been interested in reviving their childhood memories by playing some old-school video games have probably heard of emulators. emulators for various game consoles, including the NES, Super NES, and the SEGA Genesis, are available for Android as well.
Lets face it, gaming on an Android device (no matter how big the screen is) can be quite challenging, especially if you’re playing first-person-shooters or even games from an emulator. Wouldn’t it be a dream to use a console’s controller to play these games with, perhaps a PlayStation 3 controller?
Hi
I installed compiz-settings-manager and checked the Legacy FullScreen Support option on Unity and it works perfectly for playing games that you play in windowed mode but want the use full screen and gets rid of the top panel bar and so on.
As you may have noticed, a few games in the Play Store now have "game features" meaning then use the new Play Games announced at I/O. Now my question is, is there a way to track the achievement and leaderboards or can it only be done from within the games?
Sonic 4 Episode II is now available in the Google Play Store for the price of $6.99. This has been out since May, but was only available for Tegra 3 devices. Now it’s available for all devices running Android 2.3 or higher, so most of you can get your hands on this classic Sonic game.
I want to know if there is a way to play games from the playstore on my sd card.
My internal sd memory is getting full because of the big game downloads and I have a 32GB sd card with barely anything in it. When I move the files from the original folder to my sd card and start the games they make me download the files again to internal.
