13.04 Live USB kernel panic

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I made a Live USB drive according to the instructions here; I am able to load the Live Ubuntu menu (just before booting into "Try Ubuntu" or "Install Ubuntu", but when I try to boot either of those, I get the following error: Code: [0.466893] Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0) I tried enabling all the special features (like "noapic"), but with no luck. I checked the BIOS, but it doesn't seem like anything there is askew - I tried changing some settings that might be relevant anyways (obscure features enable/disable), (HowTos)
