By "does not seem to work," do you mean they're not operating at all, or that there is no icon/menu item for each of these? If you start either (or both) from the command line, do they come up?If I remember correctly, Iceweasel should come up by right-clicking the desktop and clicking on Web Browser (I think Iceweasel is the default).
I am using fedora 19 as per subject specification from my college and I have encountered this problem: say am googling for something in a browser, when I right-click on a link to open it in another page the context menu display in black, no words no nothing just a black small window. This happens whether you're in libre Office or just clicking at any icon on the desktop.
Is it possible to display a right-click menu using a shell script (or some kind of Unix command?) I'm trying to find a program that can be used to display a context menu at a specific location on the screen.
For example, it would be useful to display the desktop right-click context menu programmatically (the one that appears when right-clicking on a file.) This would require some method of launch
