I have a GeForce FX 5500 video card running NVIDIA drivers 169.12 When I set the resolution to 1280x768 the entire screen is filled. When I set it to it's recommended resolution of 1680x1050 the left side of the screen has a 2 1/2 inch black bar. The screen is not filled as it should be. (Hardware)

But as a dual display, my netbook screen is too small (800 x 600) and while the picture fills my large screen but has the wrong resolution. (Hardware)
