[ubuntu] Recognision of USB Ports?view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I have a Lexmark Z611 printer and a Logitech Quickcam unsure of the model. Anyway my question is not if they have drivers or if I can mount them etc. But a few of my USB ports in my computer don't work, and I was wondering if I hooked up my keyboard to one of the working ones and then plugged my Cam and Printer into the built in USB ports on the keyboard if they would work, and properly. http://ubuntuforums.org – Sorry, I know there are dozens of threads titled "no proprietary drivers are in use on this system," but none of them answered my question. Most of them centered around nVidia drivers. I just installed Ubuntu 10.04 on an Acer Aspire AM3970. I can't for the life of me get the wireless to work. (Hardware)
