I have a server (Win 2008) and a desktop PC (Win 7) at my work behind a firewall.
I have a client server application in c#.net . installed the server application (Windows services) in the win server 2008 . The server application and client applications are communicated through TCP/IP and port number . But when i try to connect the client to server application it shows me an error as "Remote computer actively refusing the connection ". Could any one tell me what i missed .
Problem:
Client computer can't ping server until the server has first pinged client. If I stop pinging the client from the server, the client will no longer be able to ping the server. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?
