[ubuntu] Finding out router IP (not gateway)

view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – My situation is as follows: I'm living in a dorm and I am connected to my cities uni network (lrz). I have a range of IP addresses and a specific gateway + dns I have to connnect to. What I wanted to do now is to connect a router here in my room so I can have wifi but I'm having problems configuring it. Obviously I'll need to configure the router with the gateway and dns but this is no easy task when you don't know how to reach the router. So I somehow need to find out what IP address my router got and then connect to it in the browser so that I can configure it. Any ideas on how to find ()
