firefox: password protection disabled for some sitesview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org Hi. I use Firefox's built-in password saving utility, which is great. However, for some Web sites, I never get the option to save the password. Googling indicates that Firefox somehow gives Web sites a means of disabling password-saving. How do I disable this "feature"? (Preferably without installing a plug-in.) It's irritating. (HowTos)

http://ubuntuforums.org I just installed Ubuntu 10.04, 32 bit, yesterday on my Dell Latitude 6500E and I am new to Linux. I can't find my HP LaserJet 3015 on my home network, even though it is connected to a new Windows 7, 64 bit PC thru USB. The other Windows PCs find it fine, and all 4 PCs can see each other on the network. (HowTos)

Strange bedfellows...war stories.view story

http://androidforums.com We had a 2 hour layover at LAX and we were basically just laying around. One of the flight attendants(female) was totally ghey about Apple. She had a 3gs as well as an iPad and was just going on and on and on about how great they were. Her iPad was not 3g so I put my Evo in tethering mode and told her to look in her networks for my signal. (General)

Who Uses Managed Hosting Services?view story

http://dedicatedhostingweb.org Managed hosting is basically a service with a web hosting company where you rent and entire server of your own and then pay the company to manage it for you. This is slightly different from just a dedicated server. With this type of server, you are renting the whole server, but you are free to manage it administratively as you wish. (HowTos)
