I can see the workgroup fine and the computer fine on the network, but when I try to double-click on the computer (both via the nautilus and the printer setup route), it asks me for a username, workgroup and password. 11.2 upgrade to 11.3 - Epson printer brokenview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hey, I have an Epson Stylus Photo PX710W. It worked fine in opensuse 11.2, but I've now done a fresh install of opensuse 11.3 and I can't get the printer to work. I set it up as for 11.2, so I'm sure it should just work. CUPS job page says: stopped "/opt/epson-inkjet-printer-escpr/cups/lib/filter/epson-escpr-wrapper failed" (Distributions)

Driver Installationview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I installed 11.2 some time back and had no trouble installing my Canon Pixma MX320. On 11.1 YaST installed printer and scanner like a dream. 11.2 installed printer fine but the scanner is not recognised. After much searching I found the tar file in /etc/zypp.repos.d and (why did I not think of it earlier?) in the Software Repository. (Distributions)

Printing stopped working properly after upgrade to 11.3view story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I have updated my 64 bit Suse installation to 11.3 and printing stopped working. Part of this was down to problems with the Turboprint cups files locations being in /usr/lib64/cups not /usr/lib/cups where cups expected them to be, but once that had been sorted I got entirely black printouts from the printer.
