[kubuntu] How to print 1:1 scaleview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Currently on Kbuntu 12.10 but I have had this problem with other distros. I have an HP Deskjet F2120 printer with HPLIP installed. I have drawn up a flange in freecad and I want to be able to print things like this out in 1:1 so I can confirm rough dimensions before going through the trouble to machine the part. I have tried printing straight from freecad, converting it to PDF and printing it (Hardware)

HP laser printer 1020 with Fedora 18view story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I have recently installed fedora 18. I can't get my printer to work any more. The printer is HP laser printer 1020, which used to work with foo2jzs driver in my old (Fedora 14) set up. I have downloaded the latest version of foo2jzs and compiled it. After installation, the system does not send firmware code to the flash in the printer, as it used to earlier. (HowTos)

Printer troubleview story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I setup my Canon MX870 while running F17. I successfully printed a test page, and didn't print anything after that. I upgraded to F18 and tried to print, but nothing was sent to the printer. I've checked Cups (localhost:631) and it shows that the print jobs completed. While trying to troubleshoot I found that I can't ping my printer anymore. Well, I can but not always. (HowTos)
