Last time! What laptop/netbook?view story

http://crunchbanglinux.org – This is the last time I post a topic like this, I swear :DSo, my mom just bought an Asus Transformer Pad TF300T. For me, this was a nice time to check out whether or not I'd get a nice tablet to fill the gap between the heavy laptop and my phone. Whilst it's fun, it's not something for me. (HowTos)

[other] Best Debian/Ubuntu based OS for AOD257 Netbookview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Now that I've found a way to enable executing Linux Apps on my portable media, I'm back to looking at Linux (namely the Buntu's) for a alternate and faster OS for my netbook. I'm looking at Xubuntu and Lubuntu as possible alternatives to Windows 7, but I want to put something on this thing that's debian or (preferably) Ubuntu based, something possibly faster then (or on par with) Windows 7. Is there any space for me?view story

http://crunchbanglinux.org – Hi there! Few days ago I installed crunchbang on my netbook and I'm very pleased with it, really. Got ubuntu on "desktop" notebook now, had it also on netbook few days ago. I've been through many distros, but I was searching for something really stable and light. I must say, that #! opened my eyes and I really enjoy it. (HowTos)

Black screen on resume from suspend to RAMview story

http://unix.stackexchange.com – This is my first post so please bear with me. I have Xubuntu(12.04) and Fedora17KDE spin installed on my netbook. While Xubuntu wakes up neatly, Fedora gets stuck at the black screen while resuming. After going through the pm-suspend.log file I realized that vbetools was not installed. I installed the vbetools package. Still resume throws up a black screen. (HowTos)

How to Solve Wirelesss router issues vs. ISP issuesview story

http://askubuntu.com – So I've been having a lot of issues with my internet connection since installing 12.04. This is happening on both of my laptops that run this version. My mac has no issues although I did just notice one page that took a while to load. Which brings me to the question. What tools should I get and how would I go about testing whether the issue is at the wireless or the actual internet. (HowTos)
