http://ubuntuforums.org – Karmic, 32 bit; trying to get a Netgear WG111v3 usb stick running with ndiswrapper. It works on a local unsecured site, but I'd really prefer to have it connect to the site from the cable modem, with WEP security. That last seems to be the problem. (HowTos)
http://ubuntuforums.org – We have an HP Pavillion dv4-1548dx which is now dual boot with Win7 and Ubuntu 9.10. Wireless networking works fine when booted to Windows. When we boot ubuntu the system doesn't seem to find the wireless device. Menu>System>Network Connections has no entries in the Wireless tab. Output of lspci and lshw appear below.
