AutoHotkey on Linux?view story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hello guys, Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, I thought "software" would fit it but if it is purely for Linux software, do move it where appropriate. Before I begin let me say first for those who do not know: AutoHotkey is an open source macro-creation and automation software for Windows, with great scripting capabilities. (HowTos)

Red Hat Assistant General Counsel Analyses Supreme Court's Patent Rulingview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Quote: This morning the U.S. Supreme Court issued an important decision concerning software patents and took a small-but-meaningful step in the right direction. In Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank, the Court reaffirmed that abstract ideas are not by themselves patentable and unanimously held that the software at issue was no more than an abstract idea. (HowTos)

outgoing ssh fails from only one machine on lan to outside networkview story

http://superuser.com – I have multiple servers in my LAN (which I'll refer to as Box1), and they are all able to make outgoing SSH connections, except one that stopped recently, which I'll refer to as Box2 (actually, I'm not 100% sure it ever worked, but I think I would have run into this before now if it didn't). They are all running Centos 6.3, with openssh on non-standard ports. (HowTos)

Drakwizard icon for mail missingview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I'm running Mandriva Linux 2010.1. The drakwizard icon for mail is missing. I remember I'd solved this once before, but I can't remember how. I think it was some package to install or something, but I can't seem to locate which one or anything. Basically, I need the icon for configuring the mail server in the control center. It does not show up by default. (HowTos)

I cannot go to google.com and other websites due to invalid certificate; possible DNS issue?view story

http://superuser.com – I am using Windows 7 on my PC's and my wife and I both have IPhones. About a 2 weeks ago I was having a problem on the PC's where google.com would sometimes give a 404 not found and then in the middle of the screen say "ngix". I attempted to fix this by updating the host file. This seemingly fixed the ngix problem, but then other weird things started happening. (HowTos)
