http://crunchbanglinux.org – After doing my Staler A2 dist-upgrade I fully scrambled my dock settings and ended up doing a fresh reinstall rather than trouble shooting.A scipt to convert the xfce A2 tint2 desktop to the r20101205 xfce dock might prevent some download traffic and save some grief.  A backup of the old config files would be a bonus.  Could this go in the cb-welcome?I like the more standard xfce dock as (HowTos)

CD ripping - whats the deal then?view story

http://crunchbanglinux.org – I've seen a few topics on this without much of a clear conclusion.I've tried a few applications to rip audio CDs (ripperx, sound-juicer and another whose name escapes me), and its either really slow, or I get a message saying that the disc can't be read.  Is there a recommended ripper for statler, or do I need to just keep experimenting with things like chmod-ing my cdrom?&nbsp (HowTos)
