Plotting Stability Circles on a Smith Chartview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – I need to plot a few stability circles on a smith chart to make sure this basic RF amp example design will be stable. The problem is, the center of one of the circles is WAY off the smith chart, by 10 units actually. If I wanted to graph it how I know, I would need a meter stick. (Embedded)

GX400 - 400W Audio Amplifierview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Last revision GX400 amplifier is the result of a process of improvement and testing of an amplifier schematic who was wanted in the first to be a simple and compact amplifier, easy to build and with electronic components easy to find. I started polished schematic of the amplifier to be much better than revision no.1. (Embedded)

Nyquist Plotview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Hi, Does anyone know if there is a way to do a nyquist plot (real Z) vs (Imag Z) in ORCAD SPICE? I would like to obtain this type of plot for a capacitor and/or battery circuit model such as the Randles cell which is R in series with R || C. Once I am able to create nyquist plot, then I can go one and refine/tweak the cell model. I can do a BODE plot just fine and get Phase, Ma (Embedded)

Looking for some large TO-3 heatsinksview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Hi guys, I'm in need of a couple large TO-3 heat sinks, preferably ones that can hold 4+ TO-3s each. There are some on ebay which I might buy, but I wanted to see if I could find a better deal first. So, do any of you guys happen to have some you'd like to get rid of? ;) Thanks, Matt (Embedded)

12V SLA Float Chargerview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Here is a circuit I have successfully built for float-charging 12V Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries (SLAs). With minor tweaks, it can also be used as a float-charger for 12V flooded-cell automotive batteries. It is a variant of a circuit that is posted in several places on the Web, but with some better features, analysis and description. (Embedded)

Problem Interfacing TI´s TLC59116F to Infeneon´s ITS42008 arrayview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Hello, I got my very first Arduino UNO and as a beginner project I want to build an animated epoxy LED sign. OK so to make it short, I managed to interface the Arduino to TI´s 16 channel TLC59116 (Constant current driver) and TLC59116f (Open Drain driver). (Embedded)

Error in EKG page in worksheetview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – On this page - http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/worksheets/scope1.html The vertical axis of an EKG is reported to reflect 'heart muscle contraction'. Not really correct - the EKG can only be a measure of electrical activity in the heart - so the vertical axis is always a measure of a potential difference (mV) caused by the movement of ions in the heart muscle. Class D Amplifier questionview story

http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com – Folks, I have implemented a class D amplifier using 555 timers, couple inverters, mosfet driver and a half bridge Mosfet. The original input is 2.7V pk-2-pk. From simulation:the amplified modulated digital signal is from 0- 8.6V Pk and amplified filtered or demodulated signal is 0.24V pk-2-pk as shown on the diagram. (Embedded)
