[ubuntu] Can't print on network printer after one jobview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi All, Using Karmic I installed a Xerox Phaser 3117 that's connected through my router via CUPS (had to install it directly through localhost:631). The printer installed fine, and I can print, but after the first job other jobs get stuck. The only workaround is to reset the router. (HowTos)

Click on thunderbird email link does not switch over to new Firefox windowview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hello Linux users, I am running KDE 3.5 Hardy Ubuntu and have encounterd an odd window switch to new window view problem. When I click to open a web link in any Thunderbird email it will open Firefox but it stays on the current Thunderbird window. I have to manually click the FF on the task bar to switch and view it. Maybe it's a focus issue....not sure what focus really means. (HowTos)

never ever ever use cabot stainview story

http://crunchbanglinux.org – Cabot stain is garbage. I stained a table with it, and the result was a disaster. It is terrible stain. It's thick, sticky, streaky and very hard to work with. I had so sand it all off and redo the whole thing. I used minwax stain the second time and the table is now beautiful. I'm not a wood worker. Apparently wood workers already know this. (HowTos)
