[all variants] no wireless except near dormview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I connect my laptop to my school's wireless network, which blankets the entire campus. The name of the connection is the same throughout campus, but there seem to be different access points (I dont know the details of this). The first time I connected to the wireless network, it was near my dorm, so I must have connected to an access point near my dorm. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] can't connect to or even PING certain sitesview story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi all. I've run into a problem I just can't figure out how to fix and was hoping someone else might be able to help. Running karmic, it seems my computer just CANNOT connect to certain websites sometimes, even though those sites are not down. I mean I cannot even ping the site. When I try to ping, the DNS routes just fine and I get the IP address with no problem, it just never gets any response. (HowTos)

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Published at LXer: One thing you may not know about SSH is that it has an escape character: ~. To try it out, hit return (the escape character is only picked up at he start of a line, so you must make sure you are) at the console in an active SSH session, then enter ~. Nothing will show on screen; so far so good. (HowTos)

The focus is purely to develop a test (like external loopback) to determine if all the virtual functions would work as expected when SR-IOV is enabled within the BIOS. I would not be running any Guest OS as part of this. The board is running RedHat Linux Enterprise Server 5.3 (Kernel (HowTos)
