[ubuntu] Forwarding ports to Playstation 3 using Internet Connection Sharing with Ubuntu 10.04view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I am using Internet Connection Sharing on my Ubuntu 10.04 system to share internet with my Playstation 3. Setting this up was easy enough (right click on Auto eth0 - ipv4 tab - method: shared to other computers). The problem is that there aren't really any options and to my knowledge UPNP is not supported in Ubuntu since it's a security risk. (HowTos)

[ubuntu] D-Link DWA-125 wireless adapter doesn't work w 10.04view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Have tried methods from every thread I could find for past 10 hrs. Have tried installing rt3070sta etc. Monitored message log; appears that the driver isn't recognized, though the USB port sees that something is plugged in (when I plug in the adapter, and unplug it). All of the threads miss something; I can't get a wireless port listed under ifconfig no matter what I try. (HowTos)
