Assistance with a backup solution.view story

http://serverfault.com – I am currently needing to create a backup of something on my server. I zip the entire folder and it's about 1.5gb big...it has to be backed up every hour.... Alright so the size of the backup is getting bigger and bigger every day. So I need a way to backup better. I'd like some suggestions on how to do this. But what I was thinking was that every 3 days the third day backups are deleted. (HowTos)

http://askubuntu.com – Something kinda weird appened to me today. I've been using Ubuntu for month on my computer without any issue but today I decided to install Windows 7 on dual boot so that my GF can use Photoshop... Of course I had issue installing windows so I had to hard reboot it. After doing this, Ubuntu could not activate my network card and failed to connect to my network(rebooting didn't do anything).
