When I first started up, it had a black background, not the orange-y one, and moving windows was REALLY slow. I did some researching and had to create and modify the xorg.conf file. If I was using Just Ubuntu would multiple cores really matter as any CPU intensive things (Gaming as an example) that would use multiple cores are non-existent on Ubuntu. I am using the wired one without the number pad. And ever since I have installed Karmic I realised that the F2 key no longer works to rename files or folders and I can't assign my F3 and F4 keys to do anything at all. (Hardware)
