[other] MD5SUM missmatch !view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – I downloaded an .iso file, created a bootable usb, ran it and got about 20+ lines of "Internal interrupt" errors and reboots. It goes in a loop if I don't remove the usb. I thought the .iso file is corrupted or such, so I checked the MD5SUM and found that it doesn't match the one on the website download page. How did this happen? And should I download another one? I was instructed to try removing the files in "~/.config/compiz-1/ ", but, frankly, I have no idea what "~" signifies and or what folder that may be... Haha:) Thanks! --> Leo (Hardware)
