I have tried Wicd, Ndiswrapper (with various drivers) and the native RTL8187 driver. Then managed to reinstall Network Manager (which deleted Wicd) but now it says Network Manager is running. But i see no GUI and doing nm-applet or nm-applet --smdisable doesnt help Help!!!! (HowTos)
