Looking for CD/DVD drive emulator (like daemon tools)/ Ubuntu 64view story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I am doing a wine gaming experiment on my laptop with no CD drive. On windows I would use daemon tools or power iso to create a virtual CD drive, which would allow me to play my games without a CD. I have a USB CD drive, but there seems to be a problem either with the games recognizing it or with wine properly linking it, because it doesn't work either. (HowTos)

Numpad 0 not working after upgrade to openSUSE 11.3view story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I can work around it for now if I have to, but it's a weird and annoying bug. Basically, since installing openSUSE 11.3 RC1 I've been unable to use the 0 key on my numpad. The rest of the numpad functions correctly, it's just the 0 key and it is in both numlock on and off modes (not that I ever use it in off, but I tested anyway). This is the relevant output from xev: (Distributions)

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, I can't get WLAN up on my Dell Mini 10v (BCM 4312)/openSUSE 11.3/LXDE. And yes, I have thoroughly read iwfingers's 'Getting your Wireless to Work'. After installing openSUSE 11.3 ifconfig can see eth0, l0 and wlan0. No WLAN running. dsmesq|grep firmware prompts me to '/usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware" (Distributions)

gcc does not show undefined reference errorview story

http://www.linuxquestions.org – When the following little C program is compiled with gcc it does not get a compile error even though the function atof is undefined. If I change it to xatof then it goes get an "undefined reference" error. (I know that atof is a library function, and I know that it resides in stdlib.h. But since I did not include stdlib.h I would think that it would give me an error). (HowTos)
