Thunderbird 3 in 11.3view story

http://forums.opensuse.org – I did an upgrade from 11.1 -> 11.3 and I find myself locked out of Thunderbird. I was hoping I could downgrade to Thunderbird 2.x in 11.3 but that doesn't seem possible. I just don't get the double-passwords needed for the new Thunderbird. Is it really as hard as I'm making it? It's asking for a password that I never set. Help! Patti (Distributions)

I have just one problem tho - this is how I used to get my wifi working in 11.1 - after logging in, I would issue these commands as su in a terminal: (ProBook 4510s x86_64 4gig Ram) patti-probook:/home/patti # cd Downloads/BCM4312_Driver/hybrid-portsrc-x86_64-v5.60.48.36 (Distributions)

http://forums.opensuse.org – OMG!!! this was a fast fast fast setup and install, took longer to dnload the DVD image than to run the setup. I didn't even have to dnload any addl drivers, sw or utilites. AND EVERYTHING WORKS the first time!! Even the dual monitor setup worked the first time with the ATI video I have and that has never happened on any Linux distro. incl. Ubuntu. (Distributions)

Just another "hi there!" threadview story

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hello, my name is Krzysztof and I'm 19 years old. I'm writing this as a new thread because there's no general "hi there!" thread (or I'm tired enough to have problems with finding it :P ). I'm a Mac user now (old PowerMac G4 with MacOS X 10.4.11) but I'm going to migrate on PC (AMD platform) with openSUSE. Have a good day and thanks for reading this (if anybody did it) ;) (Distributions)
