Set a shared folder with Virtualbox for sharing files between Linux and WinXP

Preparation:install a Window XP by usingVirtualbox .
1, In VirtualBox control panel ,creating a share folder for virtual machine: “Settings -> Shared Folders”, for example,set the folder path to / home / edward / music,set up a shared folder call “music”.
2, Boot Windows XP. In the VirtualBox menu, choose “equipment -> Virtual Private install computer-aided tool kits.”
3, enter: cmd in the Windows XP operating menu, and then implement:
net use x: \ \ vboxsvr \ music
after that,we can see there is a network drive in “My Computer ” .

well , i followed the instructions, i shared the folder
/home/Haytham/wallpapers
and on the cmd i wrote the command like this
net use x:\\vboxsvr\Haytham\wallpapers
it replied with :
System error 67 has occured
network name cannot be found
any ideas ?!

From earlier experiences with VirtualBox I would recommend VMware-player. Installing and sharing of folders works flawlessly, ref http://bedr.se/how-to-install-windows-xp-on-linux.htm and

Works better, but right now I have a problem installing vmware-player in ubuntu 8.10
